Tomorrow’s daily update is packing some serious punch. We’re rolling out new systems, dangerous places, and a little financial chaos (don’t worry, it’s the fun kind).

💸 Functional Economy Mod

That’s right — money is coming to Shadows of Aethro. With Functional Economy, you’ll soon be able to:

• Earn, save, and spend real in-game currency

• Run your own vending machines with custom stock and prices

• Swipe shiny bank cards like you’re shopping in the Nether’s Costco

• Access ATMs and bank blocks for deposits, withdrawals, and transaction logs

• Build a player-driven economy with shops, auctions, and markets

And yes… Herobrine is your new bank manager. Totally legit. Definitely not skimming fees when you’re not looking.

🌑 Shadowlands Arrive

The Shadowlands have finally opened. They’re dark, they’re dangerous, and they don’t care if you’re ready. Pack a blade, maybe some torches, and see if you can survive what lurks in the shadows.

📖 New MineColonies Quest Line

Open your FTB Quests journal (E → top-left book) to find a brand new MineColonies quest line. Whether you’re new or experienced, this quest chain is built to guide and challenge you in your colony journey.

Combat just got an upgrade. With the Better Combat mod, battles now feel smoother and more dynamic. Expect:

• Fancy new attack animations

💰 Economy Overhaul Incoming

Big update today: Ratlantis is now open to all players!

That’s right — the long-awaited, squeak-filled rat dimension is finally here. Expect bizarre adventures, rat civilizations smarter than you’d like to admit, and plenty of chaos. Will you conquer Ratlantis… or will the rats conquer you?

But that’s not all. We’ve been doing some serious server-side modifications to cut down on TPS lag. That means smoother gameplay, fewer stutters, and more time for you to freak out when an army of rats comes charging your way.

And because we like to keep things spicy: Colony raids are back! Sharpen your swords, polish your armor, and try not to scream too loudly when the attackers show up at your doorstep.
