Hello, Aethro Gaming community!

As we step into a brand-new year, we want to take a moment to thank you for joining us on this incredible journey over the last three years. Our survival server has been a place of adventure, creativity, and camaraderie, and it’s been an absolute joy sharing it with you.

After much thought and discussion, we’ve decided to take a bold step forward to continue growing and improving the experience for everyone. With the release of the latest Minecraft version, we will be wiping the survival server on January 7th, 2025. While this wasn’t an easy decision, we believe it’s a necessary move to breathe fresh life into our world and offer new opportunities for exploration and creativity.

What This Means for You

• Donations: Rest assured, any donations you’ve made will carry over to the new server.

• Major Builds: Your hard work won’t go unnoticed—major builds will be saved as schematic files.

• Iron VIP and Above: Players with Iron VIP and higher ranks will keep their land claims. Our staff will use World Edit to preserve everything for you and place it wherever you’d like in the new world.

• New Adventures: The wipe allows us to explore fresh areas, build anew, and streamline gameplay.

Streamlined Features

We’re cutting down on some plugins for improved performance, but rest assured, Realistic Villagers and Realistic Seasons plugins will remain. These beloved features will continue to enhance your gameplay experience.

Additionally, we’re introducing an exciting lineup of features:

• Server Levels: Level up and enjoy a ranking system for a new survival twist.

• Claiming: Claim your land and expand with extra claim blocks from the Coin Shop.

• Skills & Perks: Level up 15+ skills to customize your gameplay.

• Teams: Strategize and compete with others by forming teams.

• Lucky Drops: Receive random useful items when leveling up.
  …and much more, from Player Shops and Quests to Daily Rewards and Vote Parties!

Changes to the Network

• Vanilla Server Closure: Due to a lack of interest, the vanilla server will be shut down.

• Lobby Server Removal: With the vanilla server closing, the lobby server will also be removed.

• New Login System: A revamped login system will make access smoother, with premium account bypass for added convenience. It will also integrate seamlessly with our website!

Discord Merging with Aethro Listings

We’re also merging our Discord servers with Aethro Listings to create a unified hub for both gaming and listings. This consolidation will:

• Create a smoother and more streamlined experience for players and server owners alike.

• Ensure better availability of helpful staff.

• Add more opportunities for fun and community engagement.

• Simplify operations for everyone.
