1. Scope of Services

We operate and maintain custom gaming communities and web services under the Aethro brand. Current offerings include:

• Shadows of Aethro: Our flagship Minecraft Server and its related services.
• Aethro Online: Our custom text-based RPG network.
• Aethro Storefront: Our proprietary online shop for digital goods, ranks, and custom perks.

2. Purchases and Payments

All purchases and digital transactions are processed directly through our proprietary Aethro Storefront. We do not utilize third-party monolithic platforms like Tebex or Buycraft.

• We utilize industry-standard, highly secure payment gateways (such as Stripe or PayPal) to process your transactions safely.
• We do not store your raw credit card or payment information on our local servers.
• By completing a transaction, you agree to the processing of your payment and acknowledge that you are the authorized account holder.

3. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our goods and their immediate delivery, all payments are final and non-refundable, except where explicitly required by law or stated in writing by Aethro Administration.

Initiating a chargeback, payment dispute, or fraud claim will result in an immediate and permanent suspension of your account, alongside the revocation of all in-game items, ranks, or access across the entire Aethro Network.

4. User Conduct

By using our services, you agree not to:

• Exploit bugs, glitches, or unintended mechanics.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other players, community members, or staff.
• Break any applicable laws while utilizing our platforms.

We reserve the right to mute, ban, suspend, or terminate your access without warning if you violate these rules or our overarching Community Guidelines.

5. Ownership and Intellectual Property

We do not own Minecraft, its assets, code, or any of its trademarks. All rights to Minecraft belong exclusively to Mojang Studios and Microsoft.

However, we do own our custom content, Aethro Online codebases, plugins, server configurations, website designs, network branding, and any original art or writing created by our team.

When you purchase a rank, tag, or item from the Aethro Storefront, you are purchasing a license to access extra features on our network. You are not purchasing ownership of any intellectual property.

6. Privacy Policy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it carefully to understand how we securely handle, store, and utilize your data.

7. Service Availability

Our services are provided as-is and as-available. We make no absolute guarantees of uptime, uninterrupted gameplay, or that any specific feature will remain available permanently. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without liability.

8. Account Termination

We may terminate your access to the Aethro Network if:

• You violate these Terms of Service or our Community Guidelines.
• You engage in fraud, abuse, or malicious cyber activity.
• We choose to discontinue a service entirely.

9. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any damages, direct or indirect, including the loss of virtual items, network downtime, service interruptions, or issues caused by third-party payment processors. You utilize the Aethro Network and its services entirely at your own risk.

10. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises out of or relates to these Terms or our services:

• You agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally with us first by contacting our support team via a Discord ticket.
• If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or small claims court in California, USA, at our discretion.
• You explicitly waive the right to participate in any class action lawsuit against Aethro.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, USA. Any legal action or proceeding shall take place in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

12. Amendments to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make a material change, we will provide clear notice through at least one of the following channels before the new Terms take effect:

• A prominent notice on our website.
• A global announcement in our official Discord server.

Your continued use of our services after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using our services before the effective date.
