  1. Filed by the Chaotic Conductor and the very tired Rail Mages ⏱ Stop Times UpdatedThe Westbound line (Spawn → Eldermire) now lingers 10 seconds at each station, giving players just enough time to panic about forgotten tickets. At Spawn, the train waits a full 60 seconds for sleepy heroes to crawl out of bed and still catch it. 🚧 Eldermire BarricadesThe Train Shop has closed its doors. Eldermire officials are stacking barricades of questionable design and shouting about “outsiders with too many potatoes.” If you’re holding potatoes, try not to look guilty. ⚙️ Ongoing TinkeringOur engineers are still experimenting with train type, size, and possibly a version that scolds you in twelve languages if you jump on the roof. Further adjustments are coming. 💡 Traveler’s Wisdom The train lives. The borders tighten. Chaos continues. Ride wisely, keep your tickets dry, and never trust a gremlin offering “express upgrades.”
  2. 🎃 Shadows of Aethro Update — September 30, 2025 Heads up: when you connect today, you’ll get a quick install. It’s our Halloween prep. Also: something… happened at spawn. We apologize for the chaos. Reports say Michael Myers, Chucky, and friends are roaming the world. Be careful out there. Travel with gear Keep your head on a swivel If you see them, run or be ready to fight Happy haunting, survivors. 👻

  5. Chaotic Finds by Jack – Today’s Update Jack dove headfirst into CurseForge again and came back with a pile of shiny chaos. No new bosses. No new worlds. Just builder toys, lag fixes, armor fashion shows, jobs, escalators, and questionable life choices. Create Expansions Create: Framed – Your machines, but make them fashion. Create: Cobblestone – Cobble generators that don’t murder the TPS. Immersive Mods Immersive Paintings – Custom paintings are now in. Jack’s art isn’t added yet, but soon you’ll be forced to hang it on your walls. Variants & Builder Toys Any Lanterns – More lanterns than you’ll ever need. Chipped & Chipped Express – Every block now has a dozen decorative cousins. Lag Reduction / Utility Easy Mob Farm – Please stop building lag bombs. This is your intervention. The Quark Family Quark & Quark Oddities – A million small tweaks plus a throwable pickaxe. Every Compat – Makes mods behave nicely together. QuarkPonders – In-game tutorials so you don’t have to ask “what does this do?” in chat. Vertical Slabs Compat – Vertical. Slabs. Rejoice. Stone Zone – More rocks, more flavor. Gems Realm – New shiny blocks because apparently we needed more. Quark Delight – A food crossover nobody expected. Armor Drip Update Cosmetic Armor Reworked – Wear your best gear but look however you want. Jobs System You can now officially clock in to Minecraft. Choose from Alchemist, Builder, Digger, Enchanter, Farmer, Fisherman, Hunter, Lumberjack, Miner, or Smith. Earn cogs as you work and spend them to trade or pay for things. Press J to open the Jobs menu (or set your own keybind if J is already taken). Time to get that blocky paycheck. Escalators Because stairs are for peasants. Enjoy your moving block technology. The Vibe Builders get more blocks. Decorators get more toys. Fashionistas get armor drip. Workers get jobs and cogs. Lazy players get escalators. The server gets a little less lag. And Jack gets ready to plaster his art all over your colonies very soon. Sidenotes All existing mods have been updated to their latest versions. Bumblezone added the Hive Lifeline Enhancement: nearby bees will now take damage for you when you’re attacked. Your swarm’s got your back.
  6. Shadows of Aethro – Daily Update Incoming Tomorrow’s daily update is packing some serious punch. We’re rolling out new systems, dangerous places, and a little financial chaos (don’t worry, it’s the fun kind). 💸 Functional Economy Mod That’s right — money is coming to Shadows of Aethro. With Functional Economy, you’ll soon be able to: Earn, save, and spend real in-game currency Run your own vending machines with custom stock and prices Swipe shiny bank cards like you’re shopping in the Nether’s Costco Access ATMs and bank blocks for deposits, withdrawals, and transaction logs Build a player-driven economy with shops, auctions, and markets And yes… Herobrine is your new bank manager. Totally legit. Definitely not skimming fees when you’re not looking. 🌑 Shadowlands Arrive The Shadowlands have finally opened. They’re dark, they’re dangerous, and they don’t care if you’re ready. Pack a blade, maybe some torches, and see if you can survive what lurks in the shadows. 📖 New MineColonies Quest Line Open your FTB Quests journal (E → top-left book) to find a brand new MineColonies quest line. Whether you’re new or experienced, this quest chain is built to guide and challenge you in your colony journey. ⚙️ Under the Hood We’ve also been doing a round of fixes and backend work to prep for this big economy rollout. You’ll see it all live with today's daily update. Get ready for capitalism, colonists, and creatures that want to eat your face. Shadows of Aethro is only getting stranger from here.
  7. The bees have taken over. Our latest update brings a brand-new dimension, combat upgrades, economy tweaks, and a hive full of mod updates. 🍯 The Bumblezone ArrivesThe highlight of this patch is the addition of the Bumblezone, a brand-new bee-themed dimension. Step inside what feels like the heart of a giant hive, where you’ll encounter: Towering honeycomb walls lined up in neat rows Water canals flowing between the structures Pollen-coated landscapes buzzing with life Glittering honey crystal canyons Unique Bee Armor to collect and wear Rare Throne-Locating Honey Compasses that lead you to the Bee Queen herself The Bumblezone isn’t just eye candy — it’s a full experience. Explore structures, chase advancements, and uncover the hidden treasures of this new realm. ⚔️ Better CombatCombat just got an upgrade. With the Better Combat mod, battles now feel smoother and more dynamic. Expect: Fancy new attack animations Weapon collisions that feel impactful Weapon combos for more variety and style Whether you’re swinging an axe or blocking with a shield, every fight is now a cinematic experience. 💰 Economy Overhaul Incoming We’ve added a brand-new economy mod to help shape the server’s balance. Instructions and features will roll out soon — but for now, just know the framework is in place. 🔧 Mod UpdatesAlongside the new content, several key mods have been updated for stability and improvements: All The Leaks MineColonies Compatibility Addon MineColonies (a large batch of updates and fixes) Sophisticated Backpacks Sophisticated Core Sophisticated Storage 👻 Still No HerobrineAs always, we’d like to remind everyone that Herobrine has STILL not been proven to exist — but at least the bees are real, and they’re much more dangerous. 📦 Version & DownloadWe are now running on 2.3.1.9.5.2025 (because short version numbers are boring). 🔗 Download the latest update here 🐝 TL;DR: Explore the Bumblezone, fight with style, prepare for an economy system, enjoy smoother gameplay, and accept the eternal truth: bees exist, Herobrine doesn’t.
  8. Big update today: Ratlantis is now open to all players! That’s right — the long-awaited, squeak-filled rat dimension is finally here. Expect bizarre adventures, rat civilizations smarter than you’d like to admit, and plenty of chaos. Will you conquer Ratlantis… or will the rats conquer you? But that’s not all. We’ve been doing some serious server-side modifications to cut down on TPS lag. That means smoother gameplay, fewer stutters, and more time for you to freak out when an army of rats comes charging your way. And because we like to keep things spicy: Colony raids are back! Sharpen your swords, polish your armor, and try not to scream too loudly when the attackers show up at your doorstep. So go forth, adventurers. Ratlantis awaits — and it’s anything but squeaky clean. 🧀⚔️

  14. A Mayor’s Regret. A Colony’s Funeral. A Very Cool Portal. Things were looking up in Kalismor. Under the ever-busy eye of Mayor Paul, the colony had flourished on the lava-ridden wilds of the Forge World. Homes were built. Farms planted. Guards trained (sort of). People were happy-ish. But something was missing. So Paul, in all his restless brilliance, decided to build a Stargate. Or at least, something that looked like one. Using blackstone, obsidian, and a stubborn refusal to read the safety manual, he constructed a massive Nether portal — majestic, sleek, and stupidly ominous. And then he lit it. The portal flared to life, glowing with that signature ripple of interdimensional "do not touch" energy. Naturally, Paul touched it. He went through. What he found on the other side was… not peaceful. Not even mildly annoyed. A horde of Piglins, cranky from the heat and apparently territorial as hell, spotted him immediately. Paul turned around to leave. The Piglins, however, had other plans. They followed. Straight through the portal. Right into Kalismor. Paul was knocked out cold — possibly by a gold axe, possibly by pure regret. While he was unconscious, the Piglins rampaged. Kalismor's village guards tried to defend the colony, bless their underpaid hearts. But leather armor and "training" that consisted of hitting scarecrows didn’t hold up long. Over two-thirds of the population died. The farms burned. The blacksmith exploded. The stargate still looked awesome, but it now radiated the scent of bacon and death. When Paul awoke in the wreckage, there was silence. Just ash, broken structures, and a single sign someone hung next to the portal: “Nice job, on the Stargate.” But this is Kalismor. Paul has begun rebuilding. Stronger walls. Better guards. No more “decorative” death portals (for now). The gate remains sealed — though still beautiful — and the town square now bears a plaque: Kalismor will rise again. But Paul isn’t allowed near obsidian without supervision.
  15. Big update today! Several core mods have been updated, and your colonists are now spreadsheet-obsessed. 🔄 Updated ModsMineColonies → 1.1.924 BlockUI GeckoLib Create Mod Structurize 🏡 Colony Behavior Changes (MineColonies 1.1.924)Farmers realized they’ve been neglecting some fields. They’re now tracking their progress on a stolen courier spreadsheet (this won’t backfire, surely). They also noticed they were planting crops in areas too dark to grow. They’ve stopped doing that. Builders were redoing the same work if a new one picked up a half-finished job. They now leave notes on progress using—yep—another stolen spreadsheet. Builder material prefetching now survives when builders switch, to avoid raising suspicion from the couriers. Cooks were being lazy with food quality. They’re now distributing top-tier meals, also thanks to a misappropriated spreadsheet. Make sure your client updates if it hasn’t automatically. As always, report any issues via Discord—unless you're a courier. Then maybe don’t.

  17. 📸 Screenshot Tuesday – Week 3 Dakota built a giant obsidian castle with lava traps “to keep Riley out.” Riley retaliated by digging under it and filling the throne room with chickens. 🎉 Fatherhood Patch Notes – Week 3 🎉 This week we celebrate a major milestone: Dakota turned 7! From his wild sense of humor to his giant heart, he keeps us laughing, learning, and occasionally losing our minds (in the best way). We’re so proud of the kid he’s becoming, and grateful every day to be his dads. 💬 Personal Note: Even when he drives us nuts, Dakota’s kindness and love for others is something we treasure deeply. It’s a core feature we hope never fades. 🧡 Thanks for following along as we navigate the chaos, cuddles, and coffee-fueled reality of queer parenthood.

Wednesday Wisdom from a Gaymer Dad Your kid might break the rules—in-game or at home. They’re still learning the code. Don’t rage quit. Teach them.
  23. Thank you for the report. This was replicated so we will be looking into how to fix this.
  24. Appreciate the thought, but no — we’re not enabling piston TNT duping. Saying there's no need to worry right now because the current players are fine completely ignores how servers actually work. You don’t make server-wide policy changes based on the current player list. You make them based on what keeps the server stable, fair, and scalable as it grows. TNT duping gives infinite explosives for free. That’s not just a quality-of-life change — it breaks progression, trivializes builds, and turns one bad actor or missed moment into a potential server-crashing disaster. And yes, even with constant “overwatching,” we’re not going to micromanage who uses which machine every day. If the community really isn’t abusing anything right now, great — then they don’t need duping to enjoy the game either. We're not setting ourselves up for problems later just to save someone time crafting TNT. The answer’s no.
